Ash Wednesday – The beginning of Lent
A forty-day period of focus on penitence and preparation for the Resurrection Event of Easter. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday and ends at sunset Easter Eve. The liturgical color for this season of the Christian year is purple.

We will have Wednesday Night Dinner as usual.

New Women’s Circle
Feb 16th
The NEW Mary Magdalene Circle is for those women whose schedules just don’t mesh with our other two circles.
The next meeting with be Saturday, April 14 at 12:00 noon. They will plan and have a potluck lunch so bring a dish to share. Childcare will be provided.
The other two great circles are Miriam, which meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.; and Rachel, which meets the same day at 7:00 p.m.
