Mrs. Gray (St. Louis) has made the difficult decision to place her husband in an Alzheimer’s treatment facility because she can no longer care for him at home. They have been married for 59 years and her daughter-in-law doesn’t think that they have ever spent more than one or two days apart during their entire marriage. That, coupled with the fact that she has been his full-time caregiver for the past few years, is making this transition harder on her than on him. The family says that he is settling in and is adjusting well to his new surroundings, but she is coping with loss, loneliness and lack of purpose. Please remember her in your prayers as she makes this transition.

Please pray that I do not fail my children. I have lost my job and am on the brink of losing everything else. The depression has set in, and each and every day I find it harder to hang on. I am trying to keep it together for my children, and as I drive my son to school each day, I read your sign and feel hope. I do not want to fail them, I do not want to lose everything. Please pray that I do not fail them.

Please pray for my sister Sally. She is 52 years old and lives in Omaha, Ne. Last week she was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer and it has spread to her brain. She is getting radiation now and will start Chemo Nov 30th. Can use all the prayers she can get…thanks.

Please pray that I do not fail my children. They are good kids, work hard in school, excel at everything they do, and are very humble. I am a single mom who has lost her job and am afraid of losing everything. I have read the billboard sign the last few days that I have dropped my son off at school. I have been lost and confused, and each time I see that sign I have felt that pull, that tug. I had forgotten my path, and your sign has given me hope and direction. I do not want to fail my children, and am blessed to have found a place to place my thoughts and fears…..please give me the strength, to find a way, to keep our home, our utlities, our car, so that I can continue to keep my family together. Prayer for daughter Phyllis in Texas who is ill and doesn’t have anyone who is really looking out for her. She wants to come back to Springfield but if she does, don’t know how to get her medical care transferred. She has polycethemia and can’t be without medical.

Please pray for my niece Holly. She is being bombarded with challeneges and I believe that prayers will help her. She has been looking for a job since January, her car quit working 2 weeks ago and she is at her wits end.
I need to add that she would probably be embarrassed by my posting this, but she needs help. Please put her on the prayer chain.

sandy piveral (52) in hospital in springfield, had three surgeries in 5 days is in drug induced coma, most of small intestine removed, another surgery monday to see if any of the intestine can be saved. The blood flow to her colon was obstructed and she
waited too long to seek help.
