Grace United Methodist church partners with several community organizations in a space sharing ministry.

Women’s Emergency Cold Weather Shelter

Grace provides shelter for women on nights the temperatures fall below freezing from November 1-March 31. We work in partnership with the Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness. If you have an interest in volunteering or donating to this outreach, please call the church office (417)-869-0765.

Shared Ministry Beyond Our Doors

Grace United Methodist Church actively supports ministries that are located throughout the area.

Community Meals: Breaking Bread and Building Bridges
Monday and Wednesdays-5:30 pm-6:30 pm
Each week, a nutritious meal is prepared and served it to anyone who comes.  This powerful ministry of compassion provides a safe space for many who are hungry for food, companionship, and acceptance.

Monday’s meal is prepared and provided by National Avenue Christian Church. Wednesday’s meal is prepared and provided by Grace United Methodist Church. If you have an interest in volunteering or donating to this outreach, please call the church office. (417-869-0765)

For 46 years, Crosslines has provided emergency food assistance to families in Greene County and continues to expand the service footprint beyond pantry and into the community and area schools through the mobile distribution.
Grace UMC participates in this ministry with volunteer service, food and financial support.  Once a month, Grace members and friends  work alongside members of our partner church, Messiah Lutheran, to distribute food items to clients.

Ozarks Methodist Manor is a continuing care retirement community related to the Missouri Conference of The United Methodist Church. At the Manor, residents enjoy the privacy of living in their own home with the reassurance that on-site health care is available when needed.  Residence options include independent living cottages, residential care (assisted living) apartments, and The Manor Health Center is  a licensed skilled nursing facility. Outpatient rehabilitation is also available.

Grace UMC  is a founding member of Center City Christian Outreach, which provides food for those in need.  Throughout the year, members and friends of Grace UMC support The Well of Life through gifts of finances, volunteer hours, and food items.
